It has been a long time.

Well time really flies and I can not tell you how busy we have been. C is taking swim lessons and J started to go to a sitter 2x a week. On the side I have been trying to start my own Home Staging business. It has been really crazy. i will attach some pictures of some of the thing we have done.

It's been some time

I know I have lacked but you know what happens when your youngest starts to get into everything. Then you have no time for yourself let alone time to get on the computer and blog for an hour.
On another note, we are spectacular. J is faster than ever and I think the average spill or mess from this little sweetheart is 4. That is the least of my worries. HE CLIMBS ON EVERYTHING. I have found him numerous time on the kitchen table while I am cooking. When I put him down from there he then proceeds to find anything to climb on. He also has something that C never did and that is throw some crazy fits. It consists of throwing himself on the floor kicking his legs. C never did this. I am thinking to mysel, what do I do now with? I am a big reader and I like to research everything. That includes if Hubby and I disagree on something I go and find out the truth on the computer. He says I am a little addicted of research but in marriage you always have to find out who is right so that we may gloat on how right women are over men. JK.
Well I got off on a rant there. Back to the kids. Going to the pool, Gym, Schillterbahn, movies, and trying to beat the heat is what consumes our days. Isn't Summer suppose to be a time for rest? Our days are so packed that it feels we are busier now than when school is in. C has been a big sweetheart and helping out more with J. J now goes to a sitter 2 days a week and that gives time for C and I do spend some quality time together. It have been great. Well if I did not mention before C will be starting yet another school in the fall. It is a christian school that focus' on phonics, reading and writing. It is a fabulous school. This will be the first time that C will be in school for 5 days, 3 half days and 2 full days.
So we took our one and only trip of the summer to Amarillo. Yes, I know you are asking what is so fun about Amarillo? Well besides Canyon, which hubby grew up in, being a place I would want to bring my kids up, it is near the Palo Duro Canyon. It is a beautiful place and the thunderstorms are amazing out there. Ok so we went up there to go to hubbies grandmothers 90th birthday. It was a lot of fun.
This rambling is almost over. I just need to tell you that with this busy summer I may just be able to throw some pictures up til school starts. Hope you have a great day.

March Of Dimes walk

It was so much fun. My neighbor joined J and I and we walked the 4 miles all the way up Congress around the Capitol and back. It was amazing how many people have been effected by this. I feel very blessed that J has had minimal effects. Here are some photos. By the way J was taped by a news crew. Unfortunately we do not have cable and that station. I will update this week of all the craziness we are having and can you believe that school is almost out. AHHHHHHHH!

Opps! I am really behind in the updating.

Ok so it has just been one thing after another and we are just doing great. C has a new best friend, which we will name R,who is just so sweet and adores C. R's mother has become a good friend of mine. The only sad part is that they may leave for his dad's job. As some one a I know said "You just go where the income takes you!" or something like that. It will be hard because C has just gotten so attached. This will be our 3rd friend to move away after a wonderful bond. I know friends will come and go but it is hard for a mother to see her little son get sad when he finds out that he may not see his friend again. Just breaks my heart. I pray for smooth transition from this.
J is well and just moving quite well. He has managed to get into just about anything you can think of. I have put locks on places that I didn't for C. I even installed some cabinet door knobs, GO ME!, and put more locks on them. He is still teething and drooling so much. I never knew we could drool that much. Anyway enough about drool, what is truly going on in our part well besides crazy thunderstorms just pretty nice weather and lots of outside time. C an J go out at least once a day to play in the sandbox. The time ends with me chasing them down with the vacuum cleaner making sure none of the sand lands in the house.
Ok I am hearing some crashing in the the other room so I need to go.
Have a good day everyone.

Can we say CRAZY

The fun never stops with two little ones. Our BIG news is that J started walking on March 10th. He then decided that crawling was faster and did that for a little while. Now he has decided to do the walking thing again and has taken off. I can't keep up. It is like mad house here sometimes. If you saw an aerial view of us you would laugh. He also received his first haircut and that is a whole other story.
Ok so the grossest thing happened today and I am still sick about it. Our lovely dog Nutmeg decided that she was not going outside and crapped on the carpet in the playroom. I did not see it in time and J got it and smeared it all over the carpet. On top of that my other child C was wanting to cook cookies at the same time. So with one screaming about cookies and the other in doo doo, my hands were tied. So I stripped J down as soon as I got the doo doo off his hands and threw him in the bath. I told C to go get in the bath with J. Do you know what my child asked me next? "Does J have doo doo on him because I am not getting in the bath with him!", in the biggest attitude I have ever heard come from him. I just could not keep it together and just started to crack up. I assured him that he was doo doo free and that he could join him. Remembering that we were going to make cookies I quickly ran downstairs threw the cookies in the oven and set the timer. Do you think I heard it, NO! I smelt them first and ran to pull them out. Luckily I was quick and saved the cookies. Just to top it off I still had to figure out what to make for dinner. Are you tired just from reading well its over and I am. Just to let you know I had the house cleaned up before Hubby stepped in the door. You can applaud me now, My Nickname for today is SUPERMOM and that does not happen very often. So now I am going to bed. GOODNIGHT!

Sickness, Sanity and Sandboxes

It is the end of the week and to start of a wonderful weekend. It has been the sanity test of my life. Two boys, with the flu, allergies/sinus infections, and one can of lysol. Believe me I never knew my offspring could make that much snot. C never went to school this week which made me create new crafts. Paper towel rolls are great for 15 minutes of entertainment. I finally begged hubby to stay and work from home so I could get out and see what the world is up to. I got to go to the gym, run multiple errands, get a sonic and breath real air filled with oxygen. I lived on Airborne for a 10 days and I am lucky only to have gotten a sinus infection. So next week C will be back to school and J can get back on his schedule. We have plans to go to a church cook-off this Sunday and get some outside time. Hubby was nice to build the sandbox last weekend. After a few cool days we finally got out and got sand in more places than I could imagine. It was nice to see the boys back in their elements and to get the house back in order.
Now that we are done with all the sickness we hope everyone has a great weekend.

Still home and cabin fever has set in.

We are still home. It has been 6 days in the house and it is killing me. There is so much I can do with the boys. I am still having bad allergies so my energy is low. The boys have been keeping me up every night and I am cranky. So last night J woke up and nothing I did would help. Then I tried to put him in the bed with me and all he wanted to do was play. I finally just put him back in his room and let him cry himself to sleep. I sound like an awful mother but I have had about 4 or less hours of sleep for the last 5 nights. I am at my last rung. Also C loves the movie Dinosaurs and he has had to watching it almost every day and I am a little sick of Aladar and the monkeys. Yesterday I finally had to get out for a moment and get a sonic. I just could not control myself and got a sonic for C and I even though it is not good for sickness. Tomorrow is Thursday and hopfully C will not have a fever in the next 24 hrs cause he will be able to go to school and give me some sleep time. Poor J has had a really bad cough that sound like he is coughing up a lung. I just can't wait for all the sickness to go away, but we are lucky that it happened all at once.

Hoping for a better day tomorrow and NO. MORE. SICKY SICK.

A weekend of silence

Ok so I ditched the family and went to Ft Worth to see my brother. It was soooooo nice. I had time to read a book, watch a little TV, go see a movie, and hear myself think. I did not want it to end but don't get me wrong there was a moment that I missed my boys but it was only for a moment. I saw friends that I had not seen in over a year. It was very relaxing and I could not have asked for a better weekend.
When I came home I was expecting total chaos but it was pleasantly still clean. I was impressed. Hubby had put the boys to bed and had the house mostly picked up.

Now we all have the bad allergies and J got the flu. So we are all on antibiotics so we all do not get it. Me the germ freak has been lysoling the house like mad. I think I am starting to get sick of the smell. All in all it has been an ok week.
